Bookings
If you would like to book some time at Casa Violeta, please check the bookings calendar first. If the dates you want appear to be free, then please contact us, either by E-mail, or phone us at (231) 352 6243 (you will usually get a faster reply by e-mail). Let us know what dates you would like, and we will confirm for sure if have availability. Once we have found some dates, we ask for a $150 deposit to confirm your booking. Deposit is refundable up to two months before departure, and nonrefundable after that date. We then ask that you pay the balance due one month before the start of your holiday.
Rates for Casa Violeta in 2013/2014 are $175/night high season (Thanksgiving to Easter), and $90/night low season (the rest of the year). Just mulitply by the number of nights you would like to stay. We do not have any restrictions on which nights you start and end so long as the dates are available, so you can do a mid-week to mid-week booking if you wish. We normally ask a minimum booking of two days, though one night may be possible as a last minute booking in high season. Please contact us if you have questions. Please note, we are also open to holiday exchanges.

If you have a very large group requiring more than one house, then we may still be able to help. There is a good possibility you could rent both Casa Violeta and Compañeros at the same time if we both have availability. We also have friends among other people locally who rent out holiday homes, and if you ask we can probably find a second house within five minutes walk. Please see the Compañeros page for details of booking that house.

Our Full Bookings and Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is as follows, all dates from the start of your stay at Casa Violeta:
Bookings require a $150 deposit to confirm your booking. Booking is not confirmed until we receive your deposit.
The balance of your payment is due one month before the start of your stay at Casa Violeta.
Cancellation more than 60 days before start of stay: full refund.
Cancellation 7-60 days before start of stay: refund less $150 deposit, credit towards stay another time at Casa Violeta.
Cancellation 6 or less days before start of stay: no refund, credit towards stay another time at Casa Violeta
We are sorry that we cannot offer you a full refund if you have to cancel, and we understand that sometimes last minute emergencies force a cancellation. However, we cannot let your misfortune become our misforture. We recommend travel insurance to handle these kinds of emergencies.
